- SGR Seat Availability Checker: A tool that allows you to view publicly available train schedule and seat data from the Tanzania Railway Corporation (TRC) SGR API.
- Digital Ticket Generator: A service that converts your TRC SGR payment confirmation SMS into a digital QR ticket for a fee.

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways depending on which Service you use.
A. For the SGR Seat Availability Checker
This service is designed to be privacy-first. When you check for seat availability:
- We do not collect or store any personal information. Your selected route (e.g., Dar Es Salaam to Dodoma) and date are sent directly to the TRC SGR API to fetch the results.
- No data is logged or retained. The search queries are processed ephemerally and are not saved on our servers.
B. For the Digital Ticket Generator
When you generate a digital ticket, we collect the following information to provide the service:
- SGR Payment SMS: The full text of the payment confirmation SMS from TRC. This contains your Full Name, Travel Date, Time, Origin, Destination, Class, Coach Number, Seat Number, and Ticket Number.
- Contact Information: Your email address for delivering the digital ticket and your mobile phone number for processing the service fee payment.
- Transactional Data: We collect transaction-related information, including the payment reference number, order ID, and payment status. We do not collect or store your mobile money PIN or credit card details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect from the Digital Ticket Generator specifically to:
- Parse your SMS to create and format your digital ticket.
- Process the service fee through our secure payment partners.
- Deliver the final digital ticket (in PDF format) to your provided email address.
- Send a transaction confirmation and a temporary ticket download code to your phone.
- Respond to your customer service requests and support needs related to your generated ticket.
- Monitor usage to improve our Services and prevent fraudulent activity.
- Maintain internal records for administrative and accounting purposes.
4. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information collected via the Digital Ticket Generator with trusted third parties only to perform our service:
- Payment Processors: We share your phone number, name, and order details to securely process the TZS 500 service fee.
- SMS Gateway Providers: We share your phone number and order details to send you the confirmation and download code.
- By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe releasing information is necessary to respond to legal process, investigate potential violations of our policies, or protect the rights, property, and safety of others.
No information from the SGR Seat Availability Checker is ever collected or shared by us.
5. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information related to ticket generation. Your ticket data is stored temporarily in a protected location on our server. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure your data, please be aware that no security measures are perfect, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against interception or misuse.
6. Data Retention
We are committed to minimizing data storage. Data related to a generated ticket is stored on our server for a maximum of 24 hours to facilitate the "Download with Code" feature. After this period, this data is automatically and permanently deleted. Transactional logs may be retained for a longer period as required for business records.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you from the ticket generation service.
